BRAD COLE AT the Art Garage the best 50 seat byo venue on the planet.
The Art Garage proudly announces that Brad Cole (accompanied by James Mastro) will be coming to the best 50 seat BYOB venue in New Jersey (and beyond) on March 8 to deliver "his own soulful slice of Americana with a groove". Splitting his time between New York, Nashville and the road, Brad has been promoting his most recent offering "Down the Line" (2013) with 100+ shows played over the past year. "Down the Lines" has been well received by audiences and critics alike... Roots Music Report, among others, has named it one of the Top 20 Roots Americana records for 2013.
Cole's influences are far and wide from classic rock, reggae to show tunes and jazz to the great women singer song writers of the past 20 years like Patty Griffin, Amie Mann, Lucinda, Shawn Colvin to name a few. With the latter influences helping to earn him a spot as an Official Showcase Artist for the 2014 Folk Alliance International in Kansas City in late February. We note below some of the accolades and honors he has garnered over the past few years along with a selection of nice things the critics have said about him.
Kicking off the evening in fine fashion will be Montclair's own singer songwriting virtuoso..... Lily Vakili (with accompaniment from Bruce Hanson). Her Bio and pic are below.
